**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the English department for secondary grades in alignment with the school’s vision and academic goals.
- Design, implement, and review the English curriculum to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
- Mentor, support, and evaluate English faculty to enhance instructional quality.
- Foster a culture of creativity, research, and innovation in English teaching practices.
- Organize workshops, literary activities, debates, and other initiatives to enrich student learning.
- Monitor student performance, analyze outcomes, and implement strategies for improvement.
- Collaborate with senior leadership for curriculum development and academic planning.

**Required Qualifications & Experience**:

- Minimum **7 years of teaching experience** as a secondary English teacher.
- Minimum **3 years of experience as HOD/Academic Coordinator in English**.
- Strong expertise in secondary school English curriculum and pedagogy.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- A postgraduate degree in English or a related field (B.Ed. / M.Ed. preferred).
