We are seeking a motivated and experienced Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) specialized in History to join our faculty at a CBSE-affiliated school.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans in history aligned with CBSE curriculum standards, covering various periods, civilizations, and themes.
- Deliver dynamic lectures, lead discussions, and facilitate inquiry-based activities to deepen students' understanding of historical concepts, perspectives, and interpretations.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources, including primary sources, multimedia materials, and educational technology, to enhance learning experiences and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Design and administer assessments, such as tests, essays, and projects, to evaluate students' historical knowledge, analytical skills, and ability to construct well-reasoned arguments.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their academic progress, offer support for improvement, and encourage independent inquiry and research in historical studies.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation, respectful dialogue, and appreciation for historical diversity and complexity.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary connections, incorporate local and global perspectives, and enrich the history curriculum with relevant real-world examples.
- Stay informed about developments in historical scholarship, educational best practices, and CBSE guidelines, and incorporate relevant updates into teaching practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Master's degree or higher in History or a related field from a recognized university.
- Teaching certification or eligibility for certification in accordance with CBSE regulations.
- Previous experience teaching history at the secondary level, preferably within the CBSE curriculum framework.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex historical concepts clearly and engage students effectively.
- Effective organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to plan, implement, and assess instructional activities efficiently.
- Passion for history education, a commitment to student-centered learning, and a dedication to fostering critical thinking, empathy, and historical consciousness among students.
- Professionalism, integrity, and a collaborative mindset, with a willingness to contribute to the school community and engage in ongoing professional development.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
