**What You Will Be Doing**
- Primary focus on UNIX and Windows, involving technologies in CommVault Tool giving technical support to various clients, remotely working on wide range of Midrange and Enterprise Servers and Storage and SAN switch devices storage code upgradation
- Troubleshooting communication/functional issues against Media Agent and Commserve.
- Checking the Communication paths and accessibility by trouble shooting all network related issues and Domain related issue.
- Able to deliver the services which was rated as 95% satisfactory by client.
- Maintaining, monitoring and troubleshooting the backup issues.
- Managing the backup infrastructure to ensure all Service Level Agreements are met.

**What you bring**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in **Commvault Backup Administrator**:

- Good working knowledge in **COMMVAULT SIMPANA **Versions 10 and 11
- Updating and upgrading the backup services and tool according to the latest release of the patches.
- Installing, configuring IDA for WFS, SQL, Exchange, and oracle backup and recoveries through Commvault.
- Experienced in client facing and escalation handling.
- Designing and deploying Commvault backup services according to client’s requirement.
- Reviewing daily backup failure report and fixing the issue.
- Working Knowledge on Commserve, Media Agents and Client Configurations.
- Working Knowledge on moving DDB from one media agent to new media agent.
- Monitoring Auxiliary Copy and Data aging job operations.
- Proficient on Commvault Client setup and different restore methodology.
- Working Knowledge on NDMP backups.
- Troubleshooting failed and pending jobs in Commvault environment extensively.
- Working on Storage/ Schedule Policy Concept.
- Responsible for all disk-based backups to ensure data is appropriately backed up and recoverable.

**Education Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
