**Job Description: Videographer**

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Video Production**:

- Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality videos for promotional campaigns, social media platforms, events, and academic purposes.
- Handle both studio and on-location shoots for diverse content needs.
- **Content Creation**:

- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to conceptualize and produce engaging video content.
- Develop storyboards and scripts in line with organizational objectives.
- **Post-Production**:

- Edit raw footage to produce polished, professional videos using industry-standard software.
- Add music, graphics, subtitles, and special effects to enhance video quality.
- **Event Coverage**:

- Record and document major events, celebrations, and academic activities of the institute.
- Ensure timely delivery of videos showcasing these events.
- **Equipment Management**:

- Maintain and operate video equipment, cameras, lights, and audio tools efficiently.
- Ensure all equipment is in excellent working condition.
- **Content Optimization**:

- Tailor videos to suit various platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and the institute's website.
- Keep up with current trends in videography and content creation to produce innovative visuals.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other departments to align video content with organizational goals.
- Coordinate with faculty, students, and management during shoots to ensure smooth execution.
- **Training Support**:

- Guide and train faculty or students interested in learning basic videography and editing skills as part of academic or extracurricular activities.
- **Qualifications**: Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Film Production, or a related field. A diploma or certification in videography or editing is an added advantage.
- **Experience**: 1-3 years of experience in videography, video editing, or related fields. Freshers with exceptional portfolios are also welcome.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Knowledge of graphic design tools like Adobe After Effects and Photoshop is a plus.
- Expertise in operating cameras, lighting equipment, and audio devices.
- **Key Attributes**:

- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
