**Job Title: Animation Faculty**

**Job Summary**:
The Animation Instructor/Faculty is responsible for providing high-quality instruction and mentorship to students pursuing courses in animation. This role involves teaching a range of animation techniques, tools, and principles, and guiding students through creating animated content. The Instructor/Faculty is expected to have a deep understanding of animation theory, industry-standard software, and emerging trends in the field.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Curriculum Development:

- Develop and update curriculum for animation courses in alignment with industry standards and educational objectives.
- Create lesson plans, assignments, and projects that facilitate student learning and skill development.

Classroom Instruction:

- Deliver engaging and effective lectures, workshops, and hands-on exercises to students.
- Explain the animation concepts and techniques, and offer constructive feedback on student work.

Technical Proficiency:

- Demonstrate proficiency in industry-standard animation software and tools (e.g. Autodesk Maya, Blender, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Inkscape, Photopea, etc).
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in animation.

Student Support and Mentorship:

- Provide one-on-one guidance and mentorship to students, assisting them in developing their creative and technical skills.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages collaboration and experimentation.

Assessment and Evaluation:

- Evaluate student work based on established criteria and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Monitor and track student progress, and offer additional support to students who may be struggling.

Professional Development:

- Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities to stay current with industry trends and pedagogical best practices.

Administrative Tasks:

- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and other relevant student information.
- Participate in department meetings, curriculum planning, and other administrative responsibilities as required.

Industry Networking:

- Establish and maintain connections with professionals and organizations in the animation industry.
- Facilitate opportunities for students to engage with industry professionals through guest lectures, workshops, or field trips.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master’s in Animation, Fine Arts, Visual Effects, or a related field.
- Extensive professional experience in the animation industry, with a strong portfolio of work.
- Proficiency in industry-standard animation software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior teaching or mentoring experience is a plus.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
