Job Description: Administrative Head cum Admission Counselor

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities

1. Admissions Management:
Serve as the first point of contact for prospective students and their parents, addressing queries and concerns regarding admission procedures, courses, and college policies.

Conduct telecounseling, table counseling, and in-person counseling sessions with prospective students and their families.

Maintain and update the admission database with complete accuracy.

Follow up with potential leads and ensure timely enrollment of students.

2. Administrative Management:
Supervise and manage the admission area, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for all visitors.

Handle data management tasks, including maintaining accurate records of student details, inquiries, and correspondence.

Oversee day-to-day administrative functions related to the admission process and general operations.

Coordinate with internal departments (faculty, accounts, and management) to streamline the admission workflow.

3. Communication & Query Handling:
Resolve complaints and questions raised by parents or students tactfully and efficiently.

Build positive relationships with students and parents to ensure a smooth admission experience.

4. Counseling & Guidance:
Identify the needs and aspirations of prospective students and provide personalized guidance.

Promote the college's unique features and programs effectively to attract quality enrollments.

5. Team Leadership:
Manage and lead the admission team, ensuring smooth communication and productivity.

Train and mentor junior staff members as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in admission counseling, administration, or a related role in an educational sector.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).

Proficiency in data handling, record management, and MS Office tools.

Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of telecalling and telecounseling techniques.

Familiarity with admission and administrative workflows in colleges or coaching institutes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in a leadership or managerial role in the education sector.
