**Job Title**: Video Editor

**Reporting To**: Head of Social Media & Brand Communications

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Video Content Production: Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging videos for social media, websites, presentations, and other channels. This includes cutting footage, adding music, sound effects, graphics, and transitions.

Social Media Video Optimization: Adapt and format videos for specific social media platforms (e.g., Instagram Reels, Stories, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook), ensuring optimal length, aspect ratio, and file size.

Basic Graphic Design Integration: Create or incorporate basic graphic elements, text overlays, lower thirds, and simple animations into videos. Collaborate with graphic designers for more complex visual assets when needed.

Trend Awareness: Stay informed about current video editing techniques, social media video trends, and platform-specific requirements to keep content fresh and engaging.

Template-Driven Workflow: Efficiently utilize and customize video templates to streamline production for recurring content types while maintaining brand consistency.

AI Tool Utilization: Explore and effectively use AI-powered tools for tasks such as automated editing suggestions, transcription, content generation, or enhancing video quality to improve workflow efficiency.

Collaboration: Work closely with the social media and brand communications team, including graphic designers, to understand project goals and deliver video content that meets creative and strategic objectives.

File Management: Organize and maintain video footage, project files, and final exports effectively.

Quality Control: Ensure all videos meet technical specifications, brand guidelines, and high-quality standards before final delivery.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing edited video content, preferably including social media examples.

Proficiency in professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).

Basic knowledge of graphic design principles and familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) for creating or modifying simple visual assets for video.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple video projects simultaneously.

Experience working with and customizing video templates.

Familiarity and practical experience using AI tools relevant to video editing, content creation, or workflow enhancement is highly desirable.

Understanding of video codecs, formats, and optimization techniques for various platforms.

Excellent communication skills and ability to take direction and feedback.

A keen eye for detail, storytelling through video, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
