**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**- Code Medical Records**: Review and code clinical and procedural data from patient charts, records, and documentation, following industry coding standards such as ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS.

**- Quality Control**: Verify the accuracy, completeness, and clarity of medical coding, ensuring it complies with legal, regulatory, and insurance requirements.

**- Compliance and Regulations**: Maintain an understanding of updates to coding standards, payer guidelines, and HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance in all coding processes.

**- Documentation and Reports**: Prepare reports on coding activities, trends, and compliance audits, providing accurate data to help with operational improvements and audits.

**- Collaboration**:Communicate with healthcare clients for training and updates.

**- Maintain Coding Systems**: Stay current with the latest coding guidelines, software tools, and technologies for optimal performance.

**Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in bio-science preferred.

**Coding Certifications (Any 1 Mandatory from the following governing bodies)**:

- AAPC - Certified Professional Coder (CPC), CIC, COC.
- AHIMA - Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), CCS-P.
- Apprentice level certification is not eligible.

**Experience**:

- Oncology coding experience required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical coding field.
- Experience with various coding guidelines (ICD-10, CPT, CMS, HCPCS, etc.) and knowledge of medical terminology, medical drugs, anatomy, and physiology a must.

**Skills**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficient in using medical coding software and healthcare management systems (e.g., Epic, 3M encoder, Cerner, Optum).
- High attention to detail and accuracy. o Ability to work independently and in a team environment

**Work Environment**:

- Work from office, with potential overtime during peak periods.
- Monday to Friday, 8 Production hours.
- US Holidays applicable as per client schedule.

Pay: Up to ₹1,000,000.00 per year
