Job Description: Social Media Intern

Key Responsibilities:

- Create compelling visual content for various social media platforms using Canva.
- Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Design graphics, infographics, and other visual elements that align with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm creative ideas for campaigns.
- Help in creating and maintaining a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent posting.
- Connect and collaborate with UGC creators across different platforms to source and repurpose authentic content.
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages on social media channels.
- Stay updated with social media trends and best practices.

**Requirements**:

- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant program (communications, marketing, graphic design, etc.).
- Proficient in using Canva for designing social media graphics.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
- Basic knowledge of how to create and manage a content calendar.
- Interest in networking with UGC creators and influencer outreach.
- Creative mindset with an ability to translate ideas into compelling visuals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience with social media management, content creation, or influencer outreach is a plus.
