**Qualifications & Experience -**

**Essential qualification**:
AND

Minimum four Ph.D.s guided in career as sole or principal supervisor, plus one ongoing, with minimum specific requirements as follows: (i) 20 papers in SCI indexed journals; (ii) Four sponsored or consultancy projects.

**Desirable qualification**:
One or more Patents/Products/Technology transfer; Strong liaison with industry. Offering significant support to institute/ management. Involvement in research/academic infrastructure development

OR

In case of industrial background, minimum of 13 years of experience in relevant field at managerial level equivalent to Associate Professor with active participation record in devising / designing, planning, executing, analyzing, quality control, innovating, training, technical books / research paper publications / IPR / patents etc. as deemed fit by the expert members of the Selection committee.

**Associate Professor**:

Chemistry-Batteries, super-capacitors, electrochemical sensors

Nanoscience and technology -Flexible electronics, Lithography, nano/microfabrication

**Qualifications & Experience -**
- AND

A minimum of **six years** of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor at various levels in a university, college or accredited research Institution/ industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research. Minimum one Ph.D. student guidance and one sponsored project are essential.

In case of industrial background, minimum of 10 years of experience in relevant field at equivalent level with active participation record in devising / designing, planning, executing, analyzing, quality control, innovating, training, technical books / research paper publications / IPR / patents etc. as deemed fit by the expert members of the Selection committee.

**Assistant Professor**:

**Qualifications & Experience**
- National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
- Have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions.
