**a)** **Direct Tax**
- Prepare and file accurate tax computations in a timely manner to comply with statutory reporting including corporate income tax, Tax Audit, Withholding Tax, AIR returns and other similar taxes for various clients.
- Preparation and filing of Income tax returns wherever applicable.
- Prepare all required documentation in support of tax computations and submissions related to tax and transfer pricing matters in anticipation of tax audits and in accordance with tax defence strategy.
- Assist with preparation of responses to queries from local tax authorities in relation to tax audits or assessments by communicating with clients and coordinating, collection and submission of supporting documents.
- Ensure robust documentation is in place to support tax defence while implementation of tax planning measures for the clients.
- Ensure timely updation to clients and implementation and compliance with new taxes introduced.
- Work closely with the tax team to ensure performance of tax planning, client interaction and special projects.
- Collaborate with staff on income tax preparation and planning on client basis.
- Review completed tax forms and provide recommendations to junior members of our team when needed.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through ongoing communication and exceptional service.
**b) Indirect Tax**
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other Indirect tax requirements.
- Filing of monthly/quarterly/half yearly/annual returns under GST, Professional Tax.
- Filling of GST returns.
- Ensure Statutory Compliances and Audit Compliances for all Indirect tax related transactions.
- Liaison with clients and tax authorities.
- To assist and guide clients for ongoing business queries related to GST impact on business transactions.
- To review various reconciliations for GST Audit and Annual return.
- To handle initial level notices from department and attending hearings.
- To pro-actively identify non compliances at client level, if any.
- To update clients regarding changes in GST Regime from time to time and assist in implementation of the new rules & procedures.
- To co-ordinate with clients and different service areas such as Audit, Legal, for timely submission of reply of SCN/ Objection of Central Goods and Service Tax & Custom.
- To support the GST junior team in performing their duties with proper guidance.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent
**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
