**Role**: Provide expert guidance and support to new mothers in all aspects of breastfeeding, particularly for mothers of NICU babies.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Work closely with mothers in NICU to help initiate and sustain breastfeeding, particularly for preterm or low-birth-weight infants.
Educate families on proper breastfeeding techniques, positioning, and overcoming common challenges.
Offer guidance on milk expression and storage, ensuring adequate nutrition for NICU/PICU infants.
Conduct individual and group lactation counseling sessions, promoting breastfeeding awareness.
Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, and dieticians to develop personalized lactation care plans.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
GNM or B.Sc. Nursing with certification or specialized training in Lactation Counseling or Maternal and Child Health.
Minimum **2-3 years of experience in neonatal care units (NICU/PICU preferred)**.
Empathetic, patient-centered approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
