Social Media Marketing Intern

As a marketing & media intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic and fast-paced world of marketing and media. You will play a crucial role in supporting the marketing and media teams with a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to: social media management, content creation, market research, campaign planning and execution, media outreach, and event support.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Management: You will be responsible for creating and scheduling engaging content for our social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. This will involve crafting compelling copy, selecting eye-catching visuals, and managing the day-to-day engagement with our online community.

2. Content Creation: You will have the opportunity to contribute to the creation of various forms of content, including blog posts, infographics, videos, and more. This will involve working closely with the marketing team to develop content that resonates with our target audience and aligns with our brand's voice and values.

3. Market Research: You will assist in conducting market research to better understand our target audience, industry trends, and competitive landscape. This will involve gathering and analyzing data, identifying key insights, and presenting findings to inform marketing and media strategies.

4. Campaign Planning and Execution: You will support the marketing team in developing and executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels. This will involve assisting with campaign ideation, content creation, scheduling, monitoring performance, and making recommendations for optimization.

5. Media Outreach: You will help with media outreach efforts by researching and identifying relevant media contacts, drafting press materials, and supporting the coordination of media opportunities such as interviews and features.

6. Event Support: You will assist in the planning and execution of events, including trade shows, conferences, and other marketing activations. This will involve tasks such as logistics coordination, promotional material preparation, and on-site support.

Qualifications:

- A strong passion for marketing and media, with a keen interest in learning and growing in the field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a creative flair.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in common digital marketing tools and platforms, such as social media management tools, content creation software, and basic analytics platforms.
- Pursuing or have completed a degree in marketing, communications, media studies, or a related field.
