Self-Employed Women’s Association (SEWA) is a movement of women workers in the informal economy, working towards the economic empowerment and self-reliance of these workers. Over

50 years, 2.5 million women in India across 18 states have become members of this decentralized, grassroot movement.

SEWA Cooperative Federation, works to support women’s cooperatives & other women’s collective enterprises (WCEs), across sectors, enabling them to become viable, to innovate and to scale. Over 30 years, we have promoted 110+ women’s collectives, reaching 300,000 informal women workers, across several sectors : agriculture and allied activities, dairy, handicrafts, services, social security, finance and labour-based.

We offer specialized services, such as capacity-building, governance, working capital, finance and compliance, research, marketing and communications to these WCEs, and work with them closely, as mentors, to enable growth. This package of services and hand-holding is offered as a

Women’s Enterprise Support System (WESS).

**Designation: Social Media Associate**

**Qualification & **-Graduation / Post Graduation in marketing, journalism or media or

**Experience**:relevant experience
- 2+ years in a communications role, directly having managed social media
- Creative individuals capable of imagining, designing and packaging content for social mediums like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and

LinkedIn
- Content strategy and planning
- Writing and design skills mandatory
- Ability to monitor SEO and web traffic metrics and social media analytics and create engaging content
- Has prior knowledge of and experience managing Insta and Facebook ads and is familiar with ads manager
- Collaborate with other teams and cooperatives to ensure consistent and timely posting.

**Responsibilities**:

- To own the organization's Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn pages and take care of them end-to
- end. Right from planning a calendar for each platform to creating content, shooting videos, taking pictures, conceptualizing themes, coordinating with other departments, exploring new and engaging ways to tell stories from the ground
- Keep track of engagement and other data based on analytics for various platforms month on month.
- Plan Ad campaigns with specific goals and work around them to achieve specific campaigns.
- Strategies to increase engagement (like, share and subscribe) and run campaigns to increase the same on all platforms.
- Shoot photos, videos, and document stories from the field to help create content
- Write copy and design engaging social media posts for various channels
- Monitor and create reports on a monthly basis of targets vs. what we achieved
- Creating processes and SOPs for each platform.
- Training and building capacity on social media management in a team of young grassroots women.
- Work closely with women’s collective enterprises and document their stories of change and impact.
- Be part of and help the communications team execute events for

SEWA Cooperative Federation and other organizational communications needs, as it arises
- Regular documentation of work and processes.

**Salary**: ₹8,343.28 - ₹34,853.92 per month
