**Job Summary**:
The Captain in the gaming and entertainment industry is responsible for leading and supervising the front-of-house service team to ensure the highest quality of service for guests. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, coordinating with kitchen staff and management, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all patrons.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Team Leadership**:

- Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house staff including waiters, bartenders, and hosts.
- Assign duties and responsibilities to the service team to ensure efficient operation.
- Conduct regular briefings to update staff on any changes, promotions, or special events.
- **Customer Service**:

- Ensure guests receive prompt and courteous service.
- Address any guest complaints or concerns immediately and effectively.
- Monitor dining areas to ensure optimal guest satisfaction and service quality.
- **Operational Management**:

- Oversee the setup and breakdown of service areas.
- Ensure all service areas are clean, organized, and properly stocked.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
- **Quality Control**:

- Monitor the presentation and quality of food and beverages served to guests.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Implement and maintain service standards as per the company's guidelines.
- **Coordination and Communication**:

- Liaise with management to discuss and resolve service-related issues.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
- Assist in planning and executing special events and promotions.
- **Inventory and Supplies**:

- Monitor inventory levels of service-related supplies and place orders as necessary.
- Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and report any repairs or replacements needed.
- Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**: Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or entertainment industry.
- **Skills**:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
