**Academic Counselor**
**Location**: Thiruvananthapuram (TVM), Kochi, Calicut

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide academic counseling to students, helping them choose courses, career paths, and educational programs.
- Assess students' academic needs and provide guidance on course selection, academic planning, and goal setting.
- Conduct one-on-one sessions with students to understand their strengths, interests, and aspirations.
- Help students manage academic pressures and provide advice on time management, study techniques, and stress management.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school administrators to ensure that students receive appropriate academic support.
- Stay updated on academic programs, industry trends, and career options to offer informed guidance to students.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, counseling sessions, and follow-ups.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of **2 years of experience** in academic counseling or a related field.
- Excellent **communication** and **interpersonal skills**, with the ability to build strong rapport with students and their families.
- Knowledge of **academic programs**, career paths, and educational opportunities.
- Strong **organizational skills** and ability to manage multiple counseling cases.
- A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine desire to help students succeed academically.
- A degree in **Education**, **Psychology**, **Counseling**, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in **student guidance** or related counseling services is a plus.
