Pottery Instructor

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct beginner to advanced pottery workshops (group and individual sessions)

Guide students in hand-building, wheel throwing, and glazing techniques

Oversee the safe use and maintenance of studio tools and equipment

Operate and maintain the kiln (loading, firing, and safety protocols)

Assist in the creation and quality control of in-house ceramic products

Contribute to studio setup, cleanliness, and day-to-day operations

Support in the design and development of new workshop formats and products

**Requirements**:
2-5 years of professional experience in pottery, including teaching

Proficiency in hand-building, wheel throwing, glazing, and kiln operations

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Passion for teaching and fostering creativity

Ability to manage groups and adapt to different skill levels

Degree or diploma in fine arts, ceramics, or relevant field (preferred but not mandatory)
