X-ray Technician

We are looking for an experienced Radiology technician. Following will be the job responsibilities;
- To assist in the preparation and positioning of the patient.
- To ensure patient does not move during procedure by providing adequate instructions.
- To ensure that the patient has no metal parts To prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and positioning correctly
- To counsel the patient and help in taking clinical history.
- To perform studies, peruse manuals and correlate anatomy with clinical pathology
- To assist in contrast administration where applicable.
- To maintain all registers, payments, bill numbers, and collection of old films. Process and document digital images.
- To maintain temperature and humidity monitoring in the department
- To check department details such as emergency drugs, expiry dates, sufficiency, indenting and accounting.
- To dispatch films and check them before being sent to the reception.
- To maintain stock of films
- To operate the console.
- To select protocols for the study
- To record all complaints from the patients
- To be in charge of general maintenance of the equipment.
- To document CT/MRI images and to ensure that they are scanned for reporting on the same day by the radiologist.
- To maintain the CT/MRI machine and inform the biomedical engineering departmental/local agent regarding any faults or repairs in the machine. To maintain all necessary stationary items.
- To perform any job/task as and when assigned by the superior

**Salary**: ₹8,086.00 - ₹40,778.56 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ambarnath, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- X-ray operator: 2 years (preferred)
