**Job Description**:
Manage and implement the day-to-day academic duties as assigned by the school

Strongly support the Coordinator to effectively implement high quality standards of the Curriculum

Effectively coordinate with colleagues to ensure the smooth functioning of classroom Teaching & Learning

Communicate with parents to ascertain academic / non-academic performance of students

Read and understand the DRM, and ensure clarifications of doubts prior to implementation.

Be vigilant regarding the needs and growth, of each child and update the Coordinator regarding the same.

Develop curricula components that contain accurate and up to date content knowledge and exhibit sequential learning experiences, making strong links between intended learning outcomes and assessment.

Demonstrating creativity when planning integrated units of work across learning areas as appropriate.

Design teaching aids and resources wherever appropriate.

Display a high level of initiative and independence in tasks related to curriculum development and team development

Design lesson plans and assessments that reflect a deep understanding of the content, an appreciation for the level of instruction that is appropriate for students, and an awareness of available resources.
