**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Manage MS SQL server databases
- Develop strategies to Improve availability and utilization of MS SQL Servers environment
- Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
- Logging, managing, and resolving SQL Server SR's with Microsoft Support
Required Technical and Professional Expertise

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Overall 8+ years of IT experience
Strong SQL Server DBA experience and skills and the technical ability to assist, take over, and even manage very in-depth escalated SQL Server DB support tickets.
- Hands-on operational expertise as an SQL Server DBA on Account administration, AlwaysON, Replication, Log shipping, clustering, backups and recovery, audit reporting, Performance tuning as well as proactive environment health checks
- SQL Cluster environments with Installations and Failovers.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
Logging, managing, and resolving SQL Server SR's with Microsoft Support
- Experience with Code Migration tools is a plus.

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
- Strong experience in automating regular work using TSQL, PowerShell etc.
- Must have hands on experience and sound knowledge in cloud technologies and SQL architecture/HADR setups

Bachelor's Degree
