**About Job Profile**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Create high-quality 2D and 3D CAD models for rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and custom jewellery pieces.
- Translate sketches, concepts, and design briefs into detailed CAD designs suitable for manufacturing.
- Ensure designs meet technical, aesthetic, and functional requirements.
- Prepare CAD files for 3D printing, wax prototyping, and casting processes.
- Collaborate closely with designers, gemmologists, and production teams to optimize designs for stone setting, polishing, and finishing.
- Maintain a library of CAD designs and manage version control/documentation.
- Stay updated on jewellery design trends, materials, and techniques to contribute innovative ideas.
- Modify and update existing CAD models based on feedback and technical requirements.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Diploma/Degree in Jewellery Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
- Proficiency in jewellery-specific CAD software (e.g., Rhino, Matrix Gold, Jewel CAD, 3Design, or Z Brush).
- Strong understanding of gemstone setting, metal properties, and jewellery manufacturing techniques.
- Creative flair with an eye for detail, proportions, and aesthetics.
- Knowledge of 3D printing and rapid prototyping processes.
- Ability to interpret design briefs and translate them into manufacturable jewellery pieces.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.

**Preferred Experience**
- 1-3 years of experience as a Jewellery CAD Designer (fresh graduates with strong portfolios may also apply).
- Experience in luxury, fashion, or fine jewellery industry is an added advantage.
