**Job Summary**:
We are looking for passionate Kitchen Helper to join our fast growing, multi-cuisine Restaurant. As a responsible kitchen helper your duty is to help the Chef/ Cook in preparation of food, clean and maintain the kitchen area. Listed below are the duties and responsibilities of kitchen helper:
**Duties and responsibilities**:
1. Provide the highest and most efficient level of service.
2. Work in the designated kitchen station as set by Chef and Sous Chef.
3. Keep the kitchen equipment's clean, sanitize the area in the kitchen keeping it ready for food preparation for each session.
4. Organize the assigned work area and efficiently put away orders.
5. Able to prepare food within recommended time frames to meet Guest expectations.
6. Able to operate kitchen equipment like pans, baking ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
7. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
8. Cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards and food preparation checklist.
9. Be able to work in hot, humid and loud kitchen environment for long period of time.
10. Work with the Cook to prepare, season, and cook a wide variety of meats, vegetables, soups, breakfast dishes and other food items.
11. Wash, peel, and/or cut food items, including fruits, vegetables, or certain types of meats.
12. Checks supplies and prep list and ensure all items are prepped on time.
13. Ensure that all products like fish, meat, vegetables are always stored properly at the appropriate temperature levels.
14. Coordinate and work accordingly to requirements, cleanliness standards and manage the wastage, and cost control.
15. Operate kitchen equipment's/ machinery safely and responsibly.
16. follow the cleaning schedules for the kitchen and clean the sections and other areas as directed.
17. Need to be flexible and willing to help other departments at busy times as and when required.
18. Will require to carry out additional duties than those listed here.
**Requirements**:
1) Fresher can apply.
2) Great teamwork skills and attention to detail.
3) Positive outlook and outgoing personality.
4) Able to take responsibility.
5) Enjoys working in a lively, fast-paced environment, lives his hobby and is passionate about cooking food.
6) This role requires the ability to move and lift to 25 lbs.
7) Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required.
8) Flexibility to work in changing circumstances.
**Job Timings**:
Should be available to work between 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM and 6:30 PM and 11:30 PM Monday through Sunday with one weekly off.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month

Ability to Relocate:
- Goa, Goa: Relocate before starting work (required)
