Applications are invited for the position of **Junior Research Fellow (JRF)** in a SERB-CRG sponsored project, **_“Role of auxiliary miRNA biogenesis factors in ageing and age-related diseases”_**_, _under the Principal Investigator, Dr. Geetanjali Chawla, Department of Life Sciences (DLS), School of Natural Sciences, Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence (SNIoE), **Greater Noida,** Gautam Buddha Nagar, **201314 **(U.P.).

The position/s is temporary and is available immediately. Applications are accepted till 25th September 2024.

**Essential qualification**:Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science with any National level Test (NET, GATE) qualification or Graduate Degree in Professional Course with National Level Test qualification or Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course.

**Fellowship**:Rs. 37,000/- pm + 9% HRA

**Duration**: The duration of the contract shall be until September 07, 2025, to be extended based on fund availability as well as satisfactory assessment of progress.

**Project Description**: The project aims to characterize the role of auxiliary miRNA biogenesis factors in ageing and age-related diseases using the fruit fly model.
