REMOTE MERCHANDISER - GARMENTS / HOME TEXTILES (CHINESE MARKET)

Looking for a mid-level merchandiser to work for a Dubai based Garments/Home Textiles firm.
- Proven experience in merchandising (Home Textile/Menswear are preferable), supply chain, or retail operations.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage Chinese vendor relationships and optimize product placement.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Working Days : Monday to Saturday (9.30am - 7.00pm IST)

JOB DESCRIPTION - MID-LEVEL MERCHANDISER

Role Overview:
The Mid-Level Merchandiser is responsible for managing Order Inquires, coordinating with suppliers, analysing sales trends and ensuring that products are strategically placed to drive sales.

He/she work closely with China suppliers, and Sales team in Dubai to enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Analyse sales trends and competitor strategies to optimize product assortment.
- Work with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, sample approvals and delivery schedules.

- Ensure product quality meets brand standards and customer expectations.

- Develop strong relationships with vendors to secure the best deals.

- Ensure proper product placement to maximize sales to enhance customer experience.

- Assist in setting pricing strategies based on market trends and company objectives.

- Work closely with Sales Team to align merchandising strategies.

- Provide insights and recommendations for future product selections.

- Quality checks, and supplier coordination to ensure timely delivery fulfilment.

- Work Experience:

- 3-5 years of experience in merchandising (Home Textile, Men’s/Fashionwear are preferable), supply chain, or retail operations.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Key Skills:

- ✔ Excellent negotiation, communication skills.

- ✔ Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks for supplier management.

- ✔ Ability to manage vendor relationships and optimize product placement.

- ✔ Knowledge of market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor strategies.

- ✔ Capability to work under pressure and meet customer delivery deadlines.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹420,000.00 per year
