**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Teaching and Lesson Delivery**:
- Teach English to students in Grades 6 to 10 as per the prescribed curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State Board).
- Focus on developing students’ skills in grammar, literature, comprehension, and creative writing.
- Use interactive teaching methods and digital tools to make lessons engaging and effective.
- **Curriculum Design and Planning**:
- Develop and implement structured lesson plans and schemes of work for timely syllabus completion.
- Create engaging teaching aids and supplementary materials to enhance classroom learning.
- Integrate storytelling, discussions, and role-plays to make literature and language relatable and fun.
- **Student Evaluation and Support**:
- Conduct regular assessments, quizzes, and assignments to monitor student progress.
- Provide individualized feedback to students and guide them to improve their skills.
- Identify and address learning gaps or challenges faced by students.
- **Extracurricular Involvement**:
- Organize and encourage participation in debates, elocution contests, creative writing competitions, and drama activities.
- Mentor students preparing for school-level, inter-school, and external English competitions.
- **Classroom Management**:
- Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom.
- Ensure inclusivity and create a safe space for open discussion and expression.
- **Collaboration and Development**:
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and organize school events, literary fests, and cultural programs.
- Attend training sessions, workshops, and team meetings to improve teaching practices.
- **Parental Engagement**:
- Communicate regularly with parents through PTMs and other channels to update them on their child's academic performance.
- Address parental concerns and provide recommendations for improvement.
