Roles and Responsibilities:
Experience of BIW welding fixture design for Automotive industry is mandatory.
Sound understanding on Layout study, Build sequence, Process & Gun study
Experience of Jig & welding fixture design.
Should have good knowledge in welding process
Experience in 3D design for jigs & Fixture including Design Optimization, Manufacturability, Cost reduction & elimination of redundant operations.
Experience in Fixture Concept design, 3D Finish and Creating of manufacturing drawings using CATIA/ FIDES / NX design software.
Experience on VW, BMW, JLR, and VOLVO projects with Line builders.
High Proficiency 3D modeling of BIW Jigs & Fix. Manufacturing Drawing creation and BOM Creation.
Experience of Clamp Validation/Pay load calculation & pneumatic circuit design will be an added advantage.
