**Introduction**:
This role is for DMT Tester, who will work in the DMT Testing team to ensure the test coverage is continuously expanded and improved. Responsibilities includes to handle both Manual and Test automation tasks as per business needs. Successful applicant must embrace and adhere to Barclays values and culture.

**What will you be doing?**

As a “Test Analyst”
- Strong experience in QA - Manual and Automation
- Strong organizational skills along with the proven ability to plan and manage multiple projects / tasks across teams.
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills, articulate communication / writing skills
- Mitigate risks to Business through timely, precise execution and validation of test plans
- Mitigates / escalates issues to Test Manager/Lead as appropriate
- Enthusiastic to learn and work in environments/technologies including Agile, AWS, BigData, MicroServices Architecture. Build test strategies for the same.
- Actively contribute to various innovation activities (under test automation) along with business deliverables
- Support SIT / UAT
- Innovate test tool development for improvement and coverage of testing activities including Functional, Performance and Resiliency with proper test strategy in-place.
- Prepare / Assist in performing test estimation, test strategy, test automation, test execution
- Assist Test Manager in managing day-to-day testing activities, such as test monitoring and status reporting at the end of the testing day
- Reverse engineer requirements and develop models as needed to support test automation
- Execute tests, track and monitor defects to closure and produce test metrics and test reports

**What we’re looking for**:

- Good programming skills with any programming language (core Java) including Python (must)
- Good SQL skills, Big Data / Hadoop based prior experience
- Strong hands-on experience in one of specialized testing activities: Chaos testing for Resiliency / Automation framework development / End to end test coordination
- Hands-on experience in Agile environment

Solid understanding of Test Driven, Business Driven and Continuous integration way of software development process for test automation

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Good knowledge of.NET framework
- Good grip on DB
- Good design skills with css, bootstrap is desirable.
