**_PURPOSE _**_- in 3-4 sentences, briefly describe the overall purpose of the role, i.e. why the role exists _
- Ensure interface support and issue resolution by coordinating internal and external teams.
- Basic system SAP PO Java 7.5 configuration and administration.

**_ACCOUNTABILITIES _**_- describe role accountabilities/responsibilities, i.e. what the role does. Should cover the following:
- Effectively work in a landscape containing both on-premise and cloud middleware.
- Maintain technical connections from/to between the multiple SAPs and the rest of the landscape.
- Maintain interface mappings between different source and target integration points
- Monitor the interface landscape, ensuring to adquire all the knowledge for any interface live or going live.
- Issue resolution including required communication with software providers, hosting partners and consulting/software development vendors for any integration issue in Global IT.
- Design and develop change requests to adjust existing integration scenarios using a global approach in line with IT architecture.
- Escalate and manage issues with technical support of involved software vendors, especially SAP.
- Propose changes to appropriate functions within supported business areas

**Critical Knowledge and Qualifications**:_(what the role holder must know; including any required general or professional qualifications/education) _
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or comparable science

**Critical Skills/technical know-how**:_(what the role holder must be able to do) _
- Good communicator and team player, keen on gaining new technical experience working with other integration specialists.
- Good skills in building EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) solutions with SAP PI/PO and SAP Cloud Integration.
- Ability to learn new integration technology standards and new integration tools.
- Ability to work in a multi cultural environment.
- Ability to escalate risks into the reporting line in a timely manner.

**Critical Experience**:

- 6+ years of experience in SAP PI/PO development.
- At least two full cycle implementation projects.
- 2+ years of monitoring interfaces in a SAP PI/PO environment.
- Good knowledge and experience in setting up all the main SAP PI technical adapters (File, IDoc, RFC, SOAP )
- Deep experience in working with graphical message mapping, translating any kind of requirements into them.
- 1+ years of experience in SAP Cloud Integration.
- Good knowledge of Java programming and NWDS.
- Good knowledge of the current Integration Technology standards (e.g. web services, SOA, HTTPS security, etc.).
- +1 year of Abap experience. Ability to debug independently.
