Mse Intern

**Job Description Summary**: The job involves working with the Engineering teams in the design, analysis, testing, and validation of systems/ components of aerospace turbomachinery systems. You will have opportunity to learn hands-on and contribute to development of creative and impactful technologies for improved aero engine components/ sub-systems. This role will have a tenure of 6-9 months, enabling ownership and execution of a substantial and impactful assigned project.

In the internship, you will:

- Work on 1-2 projects over 6-9 months in a discipline aligned to your expertise
- Grow your technical expertise in your chosen field and expand your skills in new areas
- Collaborate with diverse teams to develop innovative technologies for GE Aerospace
- Receive technical insights, mentorship, and coaching from world-class engineering professionals

**Required Qualifications**:

- Pursuing PhD or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Equivalent
- Strong fundamentals, domain knowledge and analytical skills
- Execution mindset, self-driven with a sense of urgency
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a global team environment

**Desired Characteristics**:

- In-depth understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals and exposure to flow modelling, heat transfer evaluations
- Good track record through top-notch publications and Experience on solving multi-disciplinary problems
- Proficiency in simulation software in flow and heat transfer domain
