**Job Overview**:
- The assistant manager is to ensure the team members engaged in mortgage servicing is responsible for Control testing, and Control operational Effectiveness Testing.
- Work with every business unit within the organization and validate that their controls are designed and developed to mitigate the risks that are associated with their business function.
- Validate control design to ensure compliance with critical requirements and risk characteristics, and ability to mitigate in whole, or in part, related risks.
- Review evidence to ensure control is being executed as performed and is operating effectively.
- The team leader should review the citation and document the observations related to the omission or inaccuracy
- The team leader is tasked with managing the daily operations of loans that are received in the queues.
- This role involves documenting all transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining comprehensive records of all financial activities. It is essential to ensure that all relevant systems are updated in a timely manner.
**Job Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Determine sample size and method strategy for control performance and transaction testing.
- Confirm execution is performed by the proper authorized personnel, in a timely manner (based on the design) and that corrective action, if necessary, is taken appropriately.
- Determine Test Steps
- Should include elements to support requirement obligations and logic completeness and accuracy.
- Should include determination that the control was performed accurately, completely and properly evidenced.
- Should include determination that any remediation required as part of the control performance was completed.
- Should be proficient in excel and reporting to manage the assigned tasks well
- Managing the day-to-day activities of the team. Motivating the team to achieve organizational goals.
- Developing and implementing a timeline to achieve targets. Delegating tasks to team members.
- Conducting training of team members to maximize their potential.
- Empowering team members with skills to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and communication skills.
- Conducting monthly performance reviews and the growth of the company through a successful team.
- Creating a pleasant working environment that inspires the team.
- Commit to a 9-hour work schedule to consistently meet daily SLA and KPI objectives.
- Engage actively during training sessions to clarify any uncertainties, while providing support to colleagues and contributing to the achievement of team objectives.
**Qualification & Experience**

- Educational qualification and years of experience required in any specific domain/skill for the role_
- Basic Degree completion (15 years of education)
- Good written and oral communications skills in English
- 3 years of US Mortgage Experience in managing Bankruptcy teams with 3 years as Team Leader role.
- Good exposure to MS office - especially MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint.
- Demonstrates a strong attention to detail.
- Capable of responding swiftly, engaging in critical thinking, and collaborating effectively within a dynamic team in a fast-paced setting.
- Willingness to work night shifts and in an office environment.
