**Responsibilities**:
Role Description
The Role of Logistics Assistant is designed to Track and communicate deviations to expected departure and arrival dates for Eastman cargo to internal stakeholders. This role is focusing on Global Marine transportation covering shipments for all products delivering to our customers or internal operations. Discover improvement opportunities with data accuracy, carrier compliance, reporting, and system optionality between the Four Kites, SAP, and Carrier data. Interface with Four Kites and Eastman teams to execute change to realize the improvement efforts and ideas.
- Responsibilities- Track and Trace Sales and Stock Transfer orders on exception basis
- Track dry box and isotanks that are considered late using FourKites platform.
- Communicate with marine carrier to determine reason for late
- Communicate to CSR and/or DRP on late containers
- Check to see that SAP is updated with latest information if dates are different
- Track and expedite containers/isotanks dwelling at transhipment points.
- Communicate with marine carrier to expedite movement from transhipment point
- Communicate to CSR and/or DRP on status and plan for movement out of transhipment port
- Check to see that SAP is updated with latest information if dates are different (SAP, Four Kites)
- Utilize the SAP system, Excel, Four Kites, and steamship line websites to extract and compare current shipment data to monitor track changes - Interface with Carrier, Eastman, and Four Kites to identify gaps in the process for data accuracy, carrier compliance, system optionality, and reporting gaps between the systems.- Update changes and provide communication of updates to key stakeholders
- Follow-up with steamship line to capture and track reason for change in projected arrival date
- Provide data analysis support for Marine Logistics improvement efforts
- Track and trace business specific requests.
- Extract, summarize and report findings for needed analysis of detailed marine shipment data as requested by Logistics Operations
- Possess excellent planning and organizational skills
- Must be able to effectively interface with Eastman contacts such as logistics, planners, compliant coordinators, analysts and other contacts as required

**Qualifications**:
Qualification & Experience
A Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Science / Supply Chain / Operations
1 -2 Years of Experience in Logistics / Supply Chain Operations
SAP End User Experience Preferred.
