Perform routine cotton tests including length, strength, micronaire, and trash content using instruments like HVI (High Volume Instrument) and Trash Analyzers.
- Prepare and process cotton samples for analysis following standard testing protocols.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments to ensure accurate results.
- Record and interpret test data; prepare reports for internal teams or clients.
- Maintain proper documentation of test procedures, results, and daily logs.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and lab safety procedures.
- Support senior lab staff during audits, inspections, and process improvements.
- Troubleshoot basic issues with equipment and coordinate with vendors for repairs as needed.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cotton testing or a têxtile lab environment or science background - Instrumentation.
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 or other lab certification standards.
- Familiarity with cotton quality parameters and testing protocols.
- Experience using instruments like HVI, Micronaire Tester, Pressley Strength Tester, etc.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to follow precise procedures.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and report preparation.
- Good communication skills for inter-department coordination.
- Exposure to têxtile quality systems or third-party testing labs.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
