A Fitter & Turner is responsible for assembling, repairing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment. They work with various tools, machines, and materials to ensure the smooth operation of mechanical components.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Machine Assembly and Maintenance**:Assemble, install, and disassemble mechanical systems and equipment.

Inspect machinery and equipment for wear, damage, or malfunction.
Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
- **Machining and Fabrication**:Operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other machine tools to shape and fabricate mechanical components.

Select appropriate materials, measure and cut parts, and ensure precise fit and alignment.
- **Blueprint Interpretation**:Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to understand the assembly and repair requirements.
- **Welding and Metalworking**:Perform welding and metalworking tasks when necessary to repair or fabricate components.

Utilize various welding techniques to join metal parts securely.
- **Quality Assurance**:Ensure that all work meets quality and safety standards.

Conduct inspections and tests to confirm the integrity and functionality of components.
- **Tools and Equipment Management**:Maintain and clean tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Report any equipment issues and request replacements or repairs when needed.
- **Documentation**:Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and modifications performed on machinery and equipment.
- **Safety Compliance**:Follow safety protocols, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a safe work environment.

Report any safety concerns or incidents to the supervisor.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
