**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Diamond and Precious Ornament Procurement**:

- Expertly manage the purchasing process for diamonds and precious ornaments.
- Evaluate vendor offerings, ensuring the best quality and value.
- Negotiate and finalize vendor contracts based on product quality and making charges.
- **Vendor Management**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor vendor performance and adherence to quality standards.
- **Product Knowledge and Evaluation**:

- Assess diamonds and precious ornaments based on industry-standard parameters such as color, clarity, cut, and carat.
- Analyze and ensure compliance with QC standards for all procured items.
- **Manufacturing and Refining Oversight**:

- Oversee the diamond ornament manufacturing process, including melting, refining, and finishing activities.
- Ensure production processes meet company quality and efficiency benchmarks.
- **Quality Control and Assurance**:

- Implement and maintain QC standards for all products.
- Inspect and approve raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products before they are released for sale.
- **Report Preparation**:

- Create detailed reports on procurement, production, and QC activities.
- Analyze and present data for internal review and decision-making.
- **Administrative and Technical Support**:

- Utilize MS Office to manage inventory records, procurement schedules, and vendor databases.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in Gemology, Jewelry Design, or a related field.
- Certification in Diamond Grading or Precious Metal Evaluation is a plus.
- Proven experience in diamond and ornament purchasing processes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of making charges, refining activities, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with QC parameters in the jewelry industry.
- Ability to prepare and present detailed reports.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
