**Job Title**: Lab Assistant - Construction Materials Testing

**Location**:Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh

**Job Type**: Full-Time
**Experience**: 3-4 Years

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct routine laboratory tests on construction materials such as soil, concrete, aggregates, and asphalt.
- Assist in preparing and testing samples for compressive strength, density, and other physical properties.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure calibration and proper functioning.
- Record and document test results accurately and prepare reports.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with industry standards (ASTM, AASHTO, ISO, etc.).
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
- Support field technicians with sample collection and testing as required.
- Assist in troubleshooting any inconsistencies or deviations in test results.
- Communicate findings to supervisors and project engineers in a timely manner.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum **3-4 years** of experience in a construction materials testing laboratory.
- **Technical Skills**: Knowledge of lab testing methods for soil, concrete, and asphalt. Experience using testing equipment such as sieves, compression machines, and moisture meters.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong analytical skills and precision in conducting tests and recording data.
- **Communication**: Ability to prepare reports and communicate findings effectively.
- **Teamwork**: Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, site personnel, and quality control teams.
- **Certifications (preferred)**: ACI (American Concrete Institute) or NICET certification in material testing is a plus.
