Newtrace is a climate tech startup enabling the wide scale adoption of green hydrogen to help fight climate change. We aim to achieve this by redesigning electrolyzers from first principles to make them 5x cheaper than current commercial systems while improving the performance and efficiency. **What you will do**

**Your responsibilities**
- Create visually appealing and impactful designs, including motion graphics, animations, and visual assets for digital media campaigns, websites, social media platforms, and other marketing collaterals.
- Develop storyboards, sketches, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and ideas.
- Design ads & social creatives for social media promotions.
- Repurpose video content such as team videos, product tutorials, teasers.
- Work closely with the team to understand design needs and incorporate feedback throughout the design process.
- Work from concept art to create characters, objects, layouts, backgrounds.
- Work on brochures, presentations, leaflets, trademarks, videos, and banner designs.
- Sometimes work on non-motion graphics videos (live-action, webinars, podcasts).
- Be a strong voice for users and build user-centric design.
- Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards (based on social media, competitive landscape, & market trends).

**Requirements**:
**Must have qualifications**
- Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Graphic Design / Animation & Motion Graphics or similar.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in visual design and motion graphics, preferably in a creative agency or similar environment.
- Proficient with Adobe design studio, blender, maya or other 3D softwares; visual design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro) and other relevant tools Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in motion graphics and visual design.
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.
- Ability to create eye-catching illustrations, icons, and visual elements that align with brand identity and guidelines.
- Experience in creating motion graphics and animations for web, social media, and other digital platforms.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics and visual storytelling.

**Should have**
- Experience with 3D modeling and animation software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Maya).
- Knowledge of video editing and post-production techniques.
- Understanding of user experience (UX) design principles and how motion enhances the user interface.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and web design best practices.

**Nice to **have**
- Experience with UI/UX design and responsive design principles is a plus.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and coding for animation is a bonus.
- Experience in creating animated infographics and data visualizations.
