**Job Title**: Staff Nurse

**Job Location**: Vedanayagam Hospital, R.S.Puram, Coimbatore

**Reports To**: Head Nurse/ HR Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Care**: Provide direct nursing care to patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily activities.
- **Assessment**: Assess patients' conditions, record symptoms, and report changes in health status to the medical team. Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.
- **Medication Administration**: Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols. Monitor patients for side effects and provide appropriate interventions.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting treatments, medications, patient responses, and progress notes.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to plan and implement patient care strategies. Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care.
- **Patient Education**: Provide patients and their families with relevant health information, guidance on managing medical conditions, and instructions for post-care.
- **Assistance in Procedures**: Assist physicians during medical procedures or examinations, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- **Infection Control**: Adhere to infection control protocols, including sterilization procedures and safety precautions, to prevent the spread of infections.
- **Emergency Response**: Respond promptly to patient emergencies, providing first aid or basic life support as required and assisting in emergency care situations.
- **Inventory Management**: Ensure the proper management of medical supplies, ensuring adequate stock of necessary equipment and medications.
- **Shift Work**: Participate in shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the healthcare facility.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
