**Job Summary**:
We are looking for experienced **freelance fiction screenplay writers, editors, and promo writers** to develop and refine **television content** in South Indian languages. If you excel at crafting compelling TV fiction and promos, this is the role for you.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Write or edit scripts for **fiction-based TV shows** (episodic serials or series)
- Create engaging **promo scripts** that highlight story arcs and attract viewership
- Collaborate with the internal team to translate briefs into screen-ready content
- Maintain storytelling consistency, character depth, and script quality
- Adapt or edit existing content where required

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in **television or broadcast scriptwriting**:

- Proficiency in **any one or more** of the following regional languages:

- Telugu
- Tamil
- Malayalam
- Kannada
- Strong understanding of **fiction storytelling formats**:

- Good command of English (for communication and briefs)
- Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to fast-paced content cycles

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in **regional television writing** (daily soaps, serials, or series)
- Familiarity with script formatting for TV
- Understanding of cultural and linguistic nuances in regional storytelling
- Experience editing or adapting scripts across languages

**Please Note**:
This role is **not suitable for film or movie scriptwriters**. We are looking strictly for writers/editors experienced in **television fiction**.
