**Key Responsibilities**:
**Curriculum Development**:
- Design and implement a comprehensive piano curriculum tailored to the needs of students ranging from beginners to advanced levels.
- Prepare detailed lesson plans and materials for each class.
**Instruction**:
- Provide individual and group piano lessons, either online or in-person.
- Teach a variety of musical genres and techniques, ensuring a well-rounded musical education.
- Utilize innovative teaching methods to keep lessons engaging and effective.
**Student Assessment**:
- Regularly assess and document students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and setting goals for improvement.
- Prepare students for recitals, exams, and competitions.
**Performance Preparation**:
- Organize and conduct student recitals and concerts to showcase their progress.
- Assist students with repertoire selection and performance techniques.
**Motivation and Support**:
- Inspire and motivate students to practice regularly and strive for excellence.
- Address individual student needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
**Professional Development**:
- Stay updated with the latest teaching methods, music literature, and pedagogical trends.
- Participate in workshops, conferences, and professional development opportunities.
**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
- Degree in Music, Piano Performance, or Music Education.
- Teaching certification is a plus.
**Experience**:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching piano to students of various ages and skill levels.
- Proven track record of preparing students for successful performances and examinations.
**Skills**:
- Exceptional piano playing and sight-reading skills.
- Strong understanding of music theory and pedagogy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students in both individual and group settings.
- Proficiency with online teaching tools and video conferencing platforms (if teaching online).
