**Job Title**: SEO Specialist / Link Building Executive

**Target Market**:Australia

**Department**: Marketing

**Reports To**: SEO Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Link Building**:

- Develop, implement, and manage link building strategies.
- Identify and secure high-quality, relevant backlinks to improve website authority.
- Monitor backlinks to ensure they meet Google's quality guidelines and take corrective actions when necessary.

**Off-Page SEO**:

- Conduct comprehensive competitor analysis to identify new link-building opportunities.
- Leverage various techniques such as content marketing, influencer outreach, and guest blogging to build links.
- Collaborate with content and social media teams to optimize off-page SEO efforts.

**Analysis & Reporting**:

- Monitor and evaluate web analytics dashboards and reports to develop and recommend SEO strategies.
- Report on the progress of applied SEO strategies/work and adjust the strategies as needed.
- Provide recommendations based on analysis of key SEO metrics, and perform ongoing keyword discovery.

**Communication & Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Content, Design, and Development to optimize copy and landing pages for link building.
- Communicate with external publishers, influencers, and other industry professionals.

**Stay Updated**:

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes in SEO and major search engine algorithms.
- Attend SEO conferences, webinars, and read industry blogs to keep skills sharp.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 years of proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role, with a focus on link building.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or similar.
- Strong understanding of SEO concepts, particularly with regard to off-page SEO and link building.
- Proficiency in web analytics tools like Google Analytics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.

**Desirable**:

- Google Analytics Certification.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and WordPress.
