**Job Title**: Internal Auditor - Sheet Metal Process
**Department**: Quality
**Reporting To**: Quality Head

**Job Purpose**:
To ensure that all sheet metal fabrication processes adhere to internal quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory norms by performing systematic audits, identifying gaps, and driving corrective/preventive actions across departments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Conduct Internal Audits**:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled audits across all sheet metal manufacturing processes (cutting, bending, forming, welding, surface treatment, assembly, etc.).
- **Evaluate Compliance**:
Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and customer-specific quality standards.
- **Documentation Review**:
Verify the implementation and maintenance of QMS documents like SOPs, process flow diagrams, PFMEA, control plans, work instructions, and records.
- **Identify Gaps & Non-conformities**:
Record observations, classify non-conformities, and recommend improvements in production and quality systems.
- **Report & Follow-Up**:
Prepare detailed audit reports and track corrective actions until closure. Collaborate with process owners to ensure systemic improvements.
- **Support Certification Audits**:
Assist during third-party and customer audits by ensuring audit readiness and documentation integrity.
- **Continuous Improvement**:
Propose process enhancements, cost-saving ideas, and risk mitigation strategies.
- **Training & Awareness**:
Promote quality culture by training teams on internal audit findings, best practices, and standard requirements.

**Key Skills & Competencies**:

- Good knowledge of **sheet metal processes** and quality systems
- Strong analytical and observation skills
- Familiar with **ISO, IATF, and Lean principles**:

- Proficiency in MS Office, audit tools, and reporting
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Integrity and eye for detail

**Qualification & Experience**:

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering
- Certified Internal Auditor (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 preferred)
- Minimum **3-5 years** of experience in a sheet metal fabrication or automotive component industry

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
