**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Grinding Operations**: Perform grinding and finishing operations on metal surfaces of tank components, including plates, pipes, and fittings, to achieve specified dimensions and surface quality.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Operate and maintain grinding machines and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition and reporting any issues to supervisors.
- **Quality Assurance**: Conduct visual inspections and measurements of finished work to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with fitters and welders to prepare components for assembly, providing support and assistance as needed.
- **Safety Compliance**: Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment, actively participating in safety meetings and reporting hazards.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on tasks.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a grinder in the industrial or construction sector, preferably in tank manufacturing or repair.
- **Skills**: Proficient in using grinding tools and equipment; familiarity with different types of grinding techniques and materials.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong focus on quality and precision, with the ability to work under mínimal supervision.
- **Team Player**: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team.

**Education**:

- Relevant vocational training or certification in metalworking, machining, or a related field is preferred.
