**Your Impact**
- Supervise the India US Indirect Tax team with the preparation, submission, and settlement of US sales/use tax returns and other indirect tax returns in all 46 states imposing a tax
- Review monthly indirect tax account reconciliations and enter in our Blackline system
- Assist Senior Tax Analyst with preparation and review of US indirect tax journal entries
- Maintenance and reconciliation of claimed sales for resale backlog on a monthly basis
- Maintain customer exemption certificate database, update automated resale certificate expiration process, and work interdepartmentally to obtain missing or updated certificates
- Provide US based indirect tax team members with monthly changes to state and local tax legislation and quantify the related implications to the company where applicable
- Assist with transaction review and sales/use tax minimization strategies in real time on sales and purchases transactions
- Respond to tax authorities to resolve tax related notices and inquiries in a timely manner and provide weekly updates to US based indirect tax team members
- Support the various indirect tax audits administered by tax authorities, leveraging the Senior Tax Analyst as necessary
- Assist with other ad hoc department projects as needed
- The successful applicant must be willing to get into and work with the details of the company’s indirect tax compliance, expansion, and changes to reporting obligation

**Qualifications**:
**Your Experience**
- Strong knowledge of the complete corporate cycle indirect tax reporting requirements and regulation in the US - This is not a “learn as you go” role, position will own full compliance cycle including, but not limited to - data extraction/cleansing-tax return preparation-multistate funding-tax account reconciliation-calendar/dashboard maintenance
- High level of initiative and drive with a natural sense of ownership for projects and responsibilities
- Ability to work well independently as well as work with interdepartmental stakeholders
- Ability to communicate professionally, especially when communicating successes, errors, or issues
- Desire to leverage prior experience, adopt new processes, and adapt to a rapidly changing fast paced environment
- Have the ability and passion to be a contributor and creator
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management from an accredited college or university, equivalent military experience required
- CPA is a plus
- 5+ years of end to end US corporate multistate indirect tax compliance and settlement experience

Additional Skills
- Strong computer skills, proficient in MS Office and tax research tool (BNA)
- Familiarity with SAP S4 and OneSource Sales &amp - Use Tax Compliance Software experience a plus
- Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines
