As a **Junior Packing Officer,** you will be responsible for packing products in a warehouse or

manufacturing facility. You will work closely with the packing team and follow established packing

processes to ensure that products are correctly packed, labeled, and prepared for shipment. Your

attention to detail and adherence to quality standards will contribute to the smooth and efficient

packing operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Packing Operations: Perform packing tasks, including packing products into boxes, cartons,or containers according to established packing processes and specifications. Ensure that products are correctly labelled, marked, or tagged for identification and shipment.

Use packing materials, such as bubble wrap, packing peanuts, or padding, as needed to protect products during shipment. Verify product quantity, quality, and accuracy against packing

orders or packing lists.

Quality Control: Follow established quality control processes to ensure that products are

packed according to specifications, regulatory requirements, and customer requirements.

Inspect packed products for defects, damages, or discrepancies, and report any issues to the packing team lead or supervisor. Collaborate with quality control or quality assurance teams to address any quality-related concerns or non-conformities.

Packaging Materials Management: Assist in managing inventory of packaging materials,

such as boxes, cartons, labels, and other packing supplies. Ensure that packing materials are available in sufficient quantities and are used efficiently. Collaborate with procurement or warehouse teams to replenish packaging materials as needed. Help to manage packaging materials costs and waste by using them judiciously and following established processes.

Documentation and Record-keeping: Maintain accurate records of packing operations, such as packing orders, packing lists, packing slips, and other documentation. Complete required paperwork or electronic forms accurately and in a timely manner. Collaborate with the packing team lead or supervisor to generate reports or metrics related to packing performance, productivity, and quality.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous experience in packing or warehouse operations (preferred)
- Knowledge of packing processes, materials, and techniques

**Skills Required**:

- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic computer skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow established processes and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for quantity and quality verification
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Positive attitude, reliable, and punctual
