Job highlights degree in fashion design and garment management or a related field At least 3-5 years of experience in fashion design and production,preferably in a leadership role Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software,such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop Coordinating with Buyers / Vendors A minimum of 4 year UG degree in Fashion design from NIFT,PEARL or any other reputed institute Fresher can apply Shall be good in sourcing,development of prints & embroideries Job description Roles and Responsibilities: The Fashion Design and Garment Management Specialist will be responsible for: Developing and designing new fashion collections based on market trends and customer needs Creating sketches, patterns, and sample garments Collaborating with manufacturers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality control and timely delivery of products Managing the production process, from sourcing fabrics and materials to overseeing the final product Ensuring that all garments are produced according to established design and quality standards - Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to ensure that the company's products remain competitive - Developing and managing budgets and timelines for fashion collections - Training and mentoring junior team members in fashion design and garment management - Bachelor's degree in fashion design and garment management or a related field - At least 3-5 years of experience in fashion design and production, preferably in a leadership role - Strong understanding of fashion design, production processes, and quality control standards - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills - Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop - Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Shall be solely responsible for the forecasting of fashion, colors & the season's range development. Shall be able to deliver the cost effective results. Shall be good in sourcing,development of prints & embroideries.
