**Job Title**: Membership Advisor
**Reports To**: Membership Manager / Sales Manager / General Manager
**Job Summary**:
The Membership Advisor is responsible for driving membership sales and renewals by building relationships with prospective and current members. This role involves understanding the needs of potential members, communicating the benefits of membership, and ensuring member satisfaction. The Membership Advisor will be expected to achieve sales targets, provide excellent customer service, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Sales and Member Acquisition**:
- Actively pursue new membership leads through networking, outreach, and follow-up on inquiries.
- Conduct tours, presentations, and informational sessions with potential members.
- Tailor membership packages to suit the individual needs of prospects.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- **Member Retention and Customer Service**:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current members to ensure high retention rates.
- Address member inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Conduct regular check-ins with members to ensure their satisfaction.
- Assist with membership renewals and upsell additional services when appropriate.
- **Outreach and Promotion**:
- Participate in community and networking events to promote the organization and attract new members.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and distribute promotional materials.
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor offerings.
- **Administrative Tasks**:
- Accurately maintain membership records and ensure that all membership data is up to date in the system.
- Prepare and present regular reports on membership statistics, sales, and retention rates.
- Handle all membership paperwork, including contracts, payment processing, and renewals.
- **Team Collaboration**:
- Work closely with the management and sales teams to develop strategies to grow membership.
- Participate in team meetings to share insights and discuss sales tactics.

- Provide insights on industry trends and competitor analysis to inform strategy.
- **Client Consultation and Relationship Management**:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business clients seeking membership-related advice.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and success.
- Conduct regular consultations, both in person and virtually, to address client needs and provide actionable recommendations.
- Deliver presentations and workshops on membership best practices.
- **Membership Growth and Retention**:
- Advise clients on techniques to attract new members and improve member retention.
- Develop and implement strategies for member engagement, such as events, content, and rewards programs.
- Recommend and help design communication strategies that nurture relationships with existing and prospective members.
- Analyze and report on membership metrics to measure the effectiveness of implemented strategies.
- **Operational Support and Implementation**:
- Assist clients in setting up or optimizing membership management systems and CRM tools.
- Provide guidance on automating membership processes, such as renewals, billing, and communications.
- Support the execution of membership campaigns and initiatives.
- Ensure that clients are compliant with legal and industry standards for membership management.
- **Sales and Revenue Growth**:
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services that align with membership goals.
- Support clients in monetizing their membership base through premium offerings, events, and partnerships.
- Assist clients in evaluating and launching new membership products or services.
- **Team Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing**:
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to align membership strategies with overall business objectives.
- Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues to foster continuous improvement within the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and maintain professional expertise in membership-based business models.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
