**Job Description Statutory Audit -Assistant Manager**

We are looking for an **Assistant Manager - Statutory Audit** for **Bhatia & Bhatia, Chartered Accountants Delhi**, who is responsible for assisting in the execution of Statutory audits including evaluation of internal controls.

**Key Responsibilities would include**:

- Delivering highest quality on every task assigned in line with audit methodology and the expectations of assurance engagement teams.
- Demonstrate basic understanding of an industry or sector and be aware of technical issues or assurance risks.
- Execute & document specific procedures as defined by the engagement teams
- Timely identification of accounting issues, clearly documenting the facts and findings, and discuss with senior/Assistant Manager.
- Work with the senior and engagement team members to set goals and responsibilities.
- Interact with the global engagement team on a regular basis and develop productive working relationship with them.
- Contribute ideas for improvement by comparing efficiency of review procedures performed across different clients.
- Contributes to a positive team environment by demonstrating consistent commitment and optimism towards work challenges.
- Promote ethical and professional standards, including data confidentiality.

**To qualify for the role, you must have**
- Qualified Chartered Accountant.
- 4 - 6 years of relevant work experience in statutory audit CA firms.
- Basic knowledge of Advance Excel, word and PowerPoint.
- Interest in business and commerciality.
- Expert knowledge of business processes, accounting, reporting and audit methodology.
- Excellent knowledge into accounting and audit standards.
- Should know how to report under IFRS.
- Basic knowledge of direct and indirect taxes and corporate laws.
- Excellent team management and client handling experience.
