**Job Requirements
***Job Summary**:
**Roles & Responsibilities**:
1. Design and architect UEFI BIOS solutions for various platforms

2. Lead firmware development teams and provide technical guidance

3. Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure optimal integration

4. Implement security features and optimize firmware performance

5. Troubleshoot complex BIOS-related issues

6. Build a strong Center of Competency around UEFI BIOS and lead it from the front.
**Work Experience
***Required Skills (Technical Competency)**:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical/Embedded systems Engineering, or equivalent

2. 10+ years of experience in UEFI BIOS/ Firmware development

3. In-depth knowledge of UEFI specifications and implementation

4. Strong programming skills in C and assembly language

5. Experience with x86 and ARM architectures

6. Familiarity with hardware interfaces (PCIe, USB, SATA, etc.)

7. Understanding of system boot process and secure boot mechanisms

8. Experience with ACPI and power management

**Desired Skills**:
1. Understanding of pre-boot environment, UEFI/Legacy BIOS or Linux BIOS

2. Experience with coreboot or other open-source firmware projects

3. Knowledge of UEFI secure boot and TPM implementation

4. Familiarity with low-level debugging tools and techniques

5. Experience with BIOS customization for OEMs
