We are looking for a news anchor for satellite news channel with substantial experience in anchoring

1.News Presentation
- Deliver live and recorded news broadcasts in a clear, engaging, and professional manner.
- Conduct live reporting, interviews, and special news coverage when required.
- Maintain a confident and authoritative on-screen presence.

2. Content Preparation
- Collaborate with producers, reporters, and editors to review scripts and stories.
- Research and verify information to ensure accuracy and credibility in reporting.
- Adapt breaking news stories and updates quickly during live broadcasts.

3. Interviewing and Reporting
- Conduct interviews with experts, public figures, and newsmakers to provide in-depth insights.
- Cover events, press conferences, and on-ground reporting as needed.

4. Editorial Collaboration
- Work closely with the newsroom team to determine news priorities and angles.
- Contribute ideas for news segments, investigative stories, and special features.
- Ensure adherence to journalistic standards and the channel’s editorial policies.

5. Viewer Engagement
- Foster viewer trust by delivering unbiased, accurate, and compelling news content.
- Engage with the audience via social media platforms and represent the channel in public events.

- Exceptional Communication: Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to narrate and explain complex stories clearly.
- On-Camera Presence: Confident, poised, and personable on-air delivery.
- Editorial Judgment: Ability to identify key stories and present them with accuracy and impact.
- Adaptability: Quick thinking and ability to handle live, unscripted situations.
- Technical Savvy: Familiarity with teleprompters, newsroom software, and live studio equipment.
- Teamwork: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with producers, editors, and technical staff.
- Crisis Management: Ability to remain calm and composed during breaking news and technical issues.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a news anchor, reporter, or in a similar role (3-5 years preferred).
- Deep knowledge of current affairs, politics, and global events.
- Fluency in [required languages Hindi].
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in satellite TV or international broadcasting.
- Proficiency in video editing and social media management tools.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
