In the department of Skin Dev R&I, we are looking for an Intern.
**Type of contract**: 6 months
**Location**: Mumbai, India
We are looking to hire an Intern for our Skin Dev Team based in Mumbai
This intern will provide great assistance & support to our team for ongoing R&I projects while gaining practical experience in our R&I environment.
- Formulation Background: Good Understanding of cosmetic/chemical formulation principles, including the interaction of ingredients.
- Physical Chemistry Understanding: Understanding of physical chemistry concepts for product stability and ingredient behavior (e.g., pH, viscosity, emulsification, solubility).
- Awareness of Lab Equipment Operation: Should be able to safely and effectively operate common laboratory equipment used in formulation and testing (e.g., pH meters, viscometers, homogenizers, balances). Training will be provided by our team for specific equipments and instruments within our lab
- Analytical Mindset for Data Diagnosis and Report Preparation: Mindset of analyzing experimental data, identify trends or anomalies, troubleshoot issues, and accurately document findings in clear, concise technical reports.
**To succeed in this position, you have**:
- Master's or PhD degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals, Chem Engg or a related field.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This opportunity will provide great experience for batch preparation, quality control, data analysis, and an immersive understanding of the chemistry behind L'Oreal's products.
